Here's my first Jaywalkers in progress! They've been slow-going because of all the other things I am trying to get done (see my blog for details!) but I love them and will struggle to give them away at Christmas.

Yarn is self-dyed Opal and they're knitted up on the recommended 2.25mm DPNs.

I started on this "must knit project" late in the craze but I love them so far! What an easy lace pattern. I'll post a picture as soon as I have one done.

Ok, I'm letting this freak me out. I'm having issues with the next part of the pattern. Here's what I've got so far

Now, the next part says "working to 3st from end of needle #1, K2tog, K1.
Is the K2tog, K1 pat the gusset decrease? Cuz if I do that on my next needle (the one to the left with 30 st.) then it won't put my decrease in the right spot. How do I divide these stitches up? I have a feeling that my 21,21,30,30 is on the wrong needles. HELP!

funkyhooker, yes, those are the gusset decreases. Your stitches are on the right needles. You work to the end of that lefthand 30-stitch needle and then decrease, so you'll k27, k2tog, k. (Way to illustrate your situation, by the way. Very thorough.) So you'll be decreasing down the side of the foot. Make sense?
