I had surgery on my face last week so I've been stuck in the house (and will be for at least another week!) Last summer I bought this bingo game set at Jackalope in Santa Fe.  It's made for children in Mexico, and the illustrations are really cool.  I didn't know what I'd do with them until now. 

I used wire, paperclips and string for fastening and hanging. I glued the images inside a clear, light-weight plastic box (it's kind of flimsy, but it's all I had on hand).

Very awesome!!! What a brilliant idea! I have a set of novelty sized Old Maid cards....and a bare bulb in the patio... I'll bookmark and post pictures if I get around to it.

I'd love a tutorial on this!  I have some tarot cards just perfect for this!  I think I'd make two small ones, though, to go with the lights in our hallway, since our ceilings are low.

Oh ! I love Loteria!! That's a pretty original use for the cards and looks remarkably professional. Since you like the images on the cards so much you should search loteria (try google image, even)...there are hundred year-old sets of cards with those same images - so beautiful!  Nice job - i'm inspired.   Smiley
