I made this for my friend who lives in IL for Christmas...i just taught myself how to knit in august and this was the 3rd or 4th thing i had made....i also made one for myself in gryffindor colors, but i dont have pictures of that yet... what do ya think?

the girl in the pictures is not me, its my friend Anya, the one i made the scarf for...and yes she went to Chicago and was posing next to lego figurines, ones a dinosour and the other is a man

I think it looks very good. I've been thinking about making a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff scarf for myself. Beyond that, I also like the length/width you put in for it.

what needles did u use and do u have a pattern for it? I want to make one in all the house colors so that I can add them to my collection of Harry Potter stuff.

thanks for all the comments everyone! Smiley

i think i used size 10s maybe... or a little lower i forgot

but i know i definetly did 40 stitches, and 40 rows...that gave me the blocks, i just kept switching colors after every 40 rows...i have seen a couple patterns but i didnt like them, so i just eyeballed it to my liking and made me own
