Here's a May bag.  I call it the BUBB (big ugly beach bag).  I used only ugly stuff that I had in my stash.  It's huge and fugly and entirely practical.  Roomy zippered pocket inside for wallet, phone, keys, camera.

I joined the Bag a Month Craftalong in the hopes of making 12 very different bags each month this year.  With so many great examples of woven magazine bags on Craftster, I thought I'd give it a try for May.  I used the pages of a wine catalogue and beads strung on wire for the handles.  I didn't bother to line it because I don't think I'll use it, so why put more time into it than I already have.  It was fun but this is the beginning and end of my woven magazine bag career.

all nice bags. i like how the scene peeps out between the bottles, very clever.
It would be lovely with scenic shots of the world.
I had a go at a card bag, but havent finished it yet. a lot of time. I am not that keen on the vinyl finish now, but that was in the hotter months, now its cooler I might finish it  and use it.
I made a bag for the celtic swap, soon as my partner has it I will post a pic.

I have lots of pics of bags I have made in my blog if you care to view.  link in my signature.
cheers cyndiq

You did a great job on the wine bag it looks awesome.  If you don't line I can see you using it as a gift bag to put someones presents in.  It would be a shame
to let all that work go to waste.

Thanks cyndiq, Trendy Wendy & GirlyGirlBags for the nice comments.  Trendy Wendy, I was planning to use it as a wine bottle gift bag, but it's not sturdy enough.

Oh jloveg, I'm so jealous.  All the stores you named are in the U.S.  We don't have any of them in Canada.  We do a girls' shopping trip once a year to the U.S. so I'll keep those store names in mind.  Thanks.  We don't have a JoAnn's that so many people on Craftster keep referring to either.  I am going to go so crazy in that place!
