Oh yeah - I want to be in this too. I've already done a couple this month (one still needs a strap) but I'm planning on doing another this weekend, so I guess that'll be my 'January' bag.

Good excuse for me to do some experimenting!

This is the first Craftalong I've joined.  I made 3 wine bottle gift bags for my January project.  Pretty simple, but this way I can work my way up to something a little more challenging each month.  Love the black crochet bag, Aneesah and Fort Loop, the monster bag is amazing.  Thanks to Craftster for making uploading photos so easy.

those wine bags are adorable! I never thought to use fleece for something like that. I have a bag on the go but it's been slowed down by work but hope to have it done by the end of the month. This craft along is inspiring me!

Love the wine bottle cozys.  I wouldn't mind a tutorial if you want to share!  I don't know how to make the round bottom or how to make the cute pom-pom tie.

Here's the wine bottle bag tut, Pudruff:
All you need is a piece of fabric about 18 inches high and 14 inches wide.  Make the pom pom tie and enclose it in the side seam at the height where you want it to tie.  Because the fleece fabric is so thick, it was just easier to sew the bottom straight across.  When you insert the wine bottle, it flattens the bottom of the bag and stands upright.  Then I just turned down the top and hand stitched it to the inside of the bag.
The pom pom ties are easy.  Knit an I-cord (3 stitches across) about 12 to 13 inches long - or you could just braid some yarn in colours to match the bag fabric.  To make pom poms, cut two cardboard circles the same diameter as you want your finished pom pom to be. Cut a hole in the centre of each so it looks like a donut.  Hold the 2 pieces of cardboard together and feed the yarn through the centre of the cardboard with a needle (I used about 6 yards of yarn) then over the outside edge, again and again until you can't get the needle through the centre anymore.   Cut the yarn between the 2 outside edges of cardboard.  Using a 10 inch piece of the same yarn, slip it between the cardboard circles and tie it tightly a couple of times.  Cut the cardboard away and fluff out your pom pom.  Then attach it to the I-cord with the dangling thread.
Every bottle of wine deserves a fake fur coat.

hey I was told it's never too late to join...and here's my bag...
I tried making it smaller(the image) and it didn't work that way....

and the clothespin is NOT part of the bag... Cheesy
it was holding the trim in place!!

Cybilverbeana,

I have played around with the display image height and width commands  so that we can get a clear but small picture which is still linking to your photobucket.

Please note:  this is Cybilverbeana's bag,  not mine.

I will delete this post if you object to my direct linking.

btw your bag looks really cute from what I can see.
