Cause I bought a yard to make the monster wreath (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=53867.0) and I have just under a half yard left.  I also got some terrific acid lime spotted cotton fabric which I will use as a liner.

Thanks for the tres fab idea for a monster bag!

And thanks to both Fort Loop and HalfJackd for the quick feedback.  I LURV CRAFTSTERS!

Oh I've always wanted to try that clutch tutorial, but your blue fabric is spanky in an art deco way! Cheesy

Ooh!  I love your clutch, so cute!  The blue fabric is faboo too!

I'm in the middle of my January bag right now.  It's the first time I've used interfacing for a purse and the handles were a pain to turn, but it's coming out really cute!  Can't wait to be finished with it so I can post it.

I did a crochet bag/purse, my second one.  Grin Very small and simple, I probably don't have enough confidence to wear overly striking stuff.  Tongue

The flower is just a pin, made from fabric, I learned from this tutorial. The bag itself is based on this pattern but I didn't follow it that much. Cheesy

Love your bag Aneesah...the flower really pops on the black of the purse!

It took me a few days to get my bag done, but I'm really happy with the results.  I splurged on some nice fabric and a pattern to get myself back into the swing of sewing since all I've done lately is knit and crochet.

The pattern is Simplicity 4625.

Ooh.  I just found this thread.  and I'm joining!
I've made one bag this month already - but my cameras out of action for a little while, so I'll have to wait until I can post pictures.  But I'm very proud of it - its a backpack!
