i will claim kitty kill!  i will send you white or pink pillowcases to embroider!  this is my third outstanding wish for this swap!

da list!

-this beautious hat!  i adore it! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=73290.0 green or brown would be beautiful!

- an embellished or stenciled hoodie...nurse or medical themed.  can be zip up or pullover style...
size womens medium.

- i just saw this cute cardigan in the geek swap board...i want one!  something equally dorky embroidered on a secondhand cardi would be perfect! heres the link...scroll down! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=65877.30

- an incense burner...embellished, made from clay or anything else...whatever!  i use the long stick kind of incense.

- i realllly would like a skirt made out of mens ties.  if you take this on, i will give you my measurements and stuff.  i would prefer it to be dark colored ties and to just above my knee.  there are a couple examples around here somewhere.

- knitted sockies!  (bente has me addicted now!)

- an ipod cozy.

- any vintagy or retro type fabric

- the knitted amelia earhart hat! http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/kpatt07.htm

this one is a long shot...but worth a try.
- a sturdy messenger type bag but instead of having the cross your heart strap i would love it to have back pack straps....and it would be super duperdity kewl if it had a nurse/medical themed embellishment/applique/whatever on it!  (i did put this wish in the unconditional swap too so if it gets picked i will remove it from the list it doesnt get picked from.)  i would love to show it off to all my nursing school buddies!

- a goofy pointy hat like seen here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=55152.0 making that one for goldfish girl inspired me!

- a set of hot pads and an oven mitt.

- a handmade journal to keep track of my swap stuff in.

- some art for my walls (i remembered morningstar)  i like classic looking artwork, mixed media, any sort of painting.  my living room is terra cotta and my rooms are sage green.  it would be nice if it fit into the color scheme some how!

- yarn!  any yarn!

my fave colors are earthy:  browns, greens, oranges, deep reds, and yellows.  i am sort of a modern day hippie girl!  i love anything earthy and naturific!  i heart chickens and coffee and i have a good sarcastic sense of humor!

I'd love to make taloola an ipod cozy!!
This is my 2nd wish.

I shall make knottiedottie a knitting needle roll-up holder!!  and it's my 1st wish.

i live in columbus, Ohio

Und voila, mi liste!

1. My ultimate wish that I know will prolly never get granted but it doesn't hurt to wish, is the Viking Chicken helmet!!  knit or croched, I have no preference. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47371.0

2. A knit or croched Hoodie Poncho!  Preferably in black.  I'm sorry, I don't have a link, only a piccie:

3. A bunch of random paper, cool looking paper like the paper in this journal: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57967.0, like handmade paper, funky paper, cool paper that been ripped out of a notebook, even scrapbook paper.  oh, and if you can also find paper that looks like a Scrabble board and scrabble pieces, I'll love you forever!!  I'm starting to learn how to make journals, and I just don't have any cool paper!

4. a stuffie toy for my Pugs!!  They LOOOVE new toys!  Preferably something medium/small sized, like the size of a beanie baby.

5. A 3/4 sleeved shirt with a cool stencil! (size xs/s)  Perhaps one of these:
http://img80.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img80&image=18eo.gif
http://img90.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img90&image=19ey.gif
http://img400.imageshack.us/my.php?image=beckseachange1my2cv.jpg
http://img457.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bjork8yh.jpg
http://img166.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img166&image=elliotsmith5xv.gif
http://img44.imageshack.us/my.php?image=27ia1.jpg
http://img504.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wildthing5sd.gif
http://img22.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img22&image=13il.gif

6. A Built to Spill shirt for my hubby! (size Medium) It's his fave band.  He's trying to break free from his black/gray wardrobe, so a brown shirt with bright blue text/image would be a great start!

7. Handmade soaps!! Any scent would be marvy!  THANKS SEA OF STARS!!!!!!  can't wait to smell nice again!

8. Foo Fighters burned CDs!!  I don't have any of their cds, nor do I have the money to buy them!  I especially like the earlier albums...  THANKS KASIE!!!

9.  just thought of a new one...A 3/4 sleeves zip-up hoodie with any of the above stencils!  I don't have a colour preference, but I'd prefer the size to be xs.  i like showing off my non existent boooosoms.  No, i'm just kidding.

a wee bit about me...I'm 26, from argentina and have lived in many countries so I love and am sometimes inspired by all sorts of different cultures.  My style is kinda strange i guess, part 50s/60s/70s, part mod, part hipster, the tiniest bit punk, part emo...I love geometrics and then I love freeform swirls...

My fave colour in the world is blue, but I love all colours.  I don't like pastels or neons as much though, but i still like them in the right context.  My fave colour combinations are gray and pink, aqua and red, aqua and pink, pink and green (bright but not neon).

I'm not girly, but I do like frills and flowers again in the right context.  I'm crazy and shy at the same time, and love my hubby and pugs to death!  I like long walks off short piers and a man who can make milk squirt out of my nose.

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

I claim Kasie for a hipslinger! This is my first wish, I am in NV, USA!

-A begginers kit for soapmaking, candlemaking, or glass etching, knitting...

-I'm dreadful at keeping alive houseplants... so I'm wondering, if it's possible to knit or crochet a little potted plant?  Maybe a cactus?

-I love long, tunic style t-shirts and tanks.  I would love a stencilled or iron-on one with either something nature-like--trees or birds, owls, deers. Women's L

-Same as above, but with a hooded sweatshirt, or zip up hoodie.

-T-shirt, tank, hoodie with something Las Vegas themed or gambling theme on it, or with either "I'm so LV" or "From the 702" on it.  Something like that.

-I got some knitting supplies and Stitch n Bitch for x-mas!  I knitted my first square!  I would love some more yarns to play around with, as I see this as becoming a hobby of mine!  If you choose this wish, I would love it if you could include some links to your favorite patterns something like that!

-Fabrics like: wool felt (not craft felt), retro-geometric, Michael Miller, Amy Butler, Robert Kaufman, Alexander Henry, Marimekko... not necesarily those designers but those styles...

-I've been on craftster awhile now, some of you know me pretty well, I would love a SURPRISE in the mail!

Off to find more...

I claim aschnebly's surprise!  Smiley

I am in Portland, Oregon.  This is my second wish.

List:

1.  a microscope slide necklace, some ideas: maps, photography, scientific symbols, equations, horses

2.  a little sugar bowl...with the lid and little spoon slot thingie...that has some sort of addiction themed image
transferred onto it somehow, modge podge or something? i don't know about such things.  something like a
bunch of pills in a hand,or maybe the molecular structure of sugar, or whatever else you come up with!

3.   fingerless mitts w/ thumb gussett

4.   a black scarf (to go with my new fabulous black panta from penguino!)

5.   ANYTHING  made out of some sorta map, or with a map theme

6.   a guitar strap for my hubby made out of an old seatbelt  (he would soooo stop making fun of my crafty
       swappin'...hehe)

7.   earring organizer, like an old frame with wire mesh on the back, something at least 11x14"

8.   a shirt stenciled or designed however, with one of these themes:  science/biology, technology, industry
(however you choose to interpret it!) women's small, no Beefy T's! I like'em nice and thin.

me:
I am 29, a photographer, and native oregonian.  I wear a lot of black, a lot of scarfs, and nothing very girly girl. (no pink)  I like quirky, eclectic things, and vintage fashions.  Currently I am really into tweedy fabrics and embroidered stuff.  I LOVE old road maps, and charts and graphs of random things or long scientific type equations, typewriters, all animals (especially horses), robots and satellites.  I don't like pastels, but I love bright greens and blues, all shades of red, and of course black and gray. Bright red and aqua blue together is my current favorite color combo (think Life Aquatic).

Hi Knottydottie. I claim your map themed something-or-others. I've always liked maps and would love to figure out some map related surprises for you. This is gonna great fun!

My long list follows below (with more options for your crafting pleasure):

I live in Brooklyn, NYC

1-   A few Knit or Crochet Flowers, Large for me to make into Brooches, Pins, hairclips, necklaces, etc, maybe beaded or felt details added. Or maybe youd   make them into something?  Maybe include a Crochet flower kit with really clear instructions. I still cannot quite get the patterns and my flower making is stalled.    Here are examples that I like:
knit- http://www.eoinadesigns.com/knitflower.html- I dont knit yet, but want to soon
   crochet- http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/chs-rosettes.html

2-   A sweet hat, my head size is 23 around top of ears, I like this hat in the knit version which is stretchier (I have curly crazy hair): http://www.moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pages/flower-caps-print.htm or any style that is good for not squishing my hair.

4-   Legwarmers, saw this on a prior list:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26763.0

5-   Arm Warmers like this: http://www.moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pages/leaf-armband-print.htm , dont have to be so fancy, but maybe a little longer so I could wear some of my T-Shirts in cold weather.

6-   Knit purse something like this: http://www.moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pages/via-mala-purse-print.htm in dark orange, red, camel or brown with a flowery or pretty lining.

7-   Something decorated with swallow, flaming heart, lucky horseshoe, koi, vintage, tattoo style designs: tote, small messenger, t-shirt, clutch, zipper pouch?

8-   Knitted Shrug- like this amazing circular one: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45597.msg479480#msg479480 in red, deep coral, cream, or something springy looking.

9-   A fun pin-cushion, with a way to attach it to my bag (ties, a leash, clip thingy) just lost mine on the subway while embroidering on the way to work... I ran for the transfer and it bounced out of my bag and rolled along the floor, someone picked it up but the doors shut before she could give it to me :O( Im waiting for it with baited breath! Thanks for choosing me BlooCanoe

10-   If I can wish big a slouchy hobo bag = http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.0 in a vintagey floral print?

11-   Any crochet silver jewelry, or a how to kit - I crochet a bit but have never learned how to crochet sterling silver wire to create pendants or earrings.

12-   A Hipslinger Bag: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=31379.0

13-   Dream Skirt!  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72797.0;topicseen  if some one is an incredible seamstress and very generous!

14-   Scooter chick theme stenciled t-shirt (womens size M), and some 1 buttons with scooter chick themes.

I am 30ish years old and live in Brooklyn. Favorite colors: red, dark pinks, coral, orange, yellow & anything big floral. I love: flamboyant accessories, bold flowers, scarves, jewelry, boxerdogs, birds & squirrels. My style this winter can be described as 1940s tango divafishnets, boots, big crazy skirts. I rode my skoooter like crazy the last few days temps have been in the 50s in NYC and today its 25 with ice & snow, boo hoo.
