Oh wow that's awesome!  I've wondered before, while browsing beach glass jewelry, if the effect could be replicated in a rock tumbler.  But I got rid of my rock tumbler long, long ago (had one as a kid).  I might have to keep my eye out for one in a garage sale or something. Wink

I got my kid a rock tumbler (just a cheapy one) and it burned out before the first grit cycle was done! (has 3 grits to go thru) It still sits with the stones and water and grit in it, since I don't want to throw it out! Any ideas?Huh?
