excellent question. i think "securely" is the operative word. i haven't figured that out yet. i can secure it to the wall to hang light things (like hats or dried flowers) just by using 2 little "I-hooks" and a some fishing line. To do it securely, i imagine i would have to do drill some holes halfway into the back of the wood and then affix to the wall with anchors or something...
i'm open to your ideas. thanks for the good question. Cheesy

firehead4, your fantastically useful hooks remind me of a friend's wedding-- the wedding party helped paint hooks (the same ones as in your last photo), then they were given out as wedding favors.  It was fun to paint them, fun to see who got which design, and you can never have enough hooks!
