Here's my version of Knitty's Danica! It was SO fun and so easy to make!! I definately learned to know which decreases go which way after this project!! I made it out of the boucle from target. It's for my mother for a christmas gift, I hope she likes it Smiley If not, that's cool, my little sisters are at home and I know they'll love it!

I thought entrelac would be scary/hard, but it wasn't! I'd encourage this project for anyone who feels comfortable with knitting, purling, and picking up stitches.  It's not even that necessary to count once you get the hang of how the pattern goes!

When I first saw entrelac in a knitting book, I thought wow! That looks so cool but must be very difficult.  But your post is encouraging, and such
beautiful results!!

I LOVE your interpretation of this pattern!!!!  The boucle makes it look so cozy and I love the combination of your colors!

This is on my to-knit list...  I think it just moved up a couple of places.

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

Knitters confession... I'm not afraid of any techniques and am always happy to try something anew.  Except for entrelac.  It has always looked so strange and confusing.  You have balls (so to speak).

And omigawd, your scarf turned out amazingly well.  I love your colour combos.  Is this what knitters envy feels like?

I was on the fence about this pattern, but yours looks so good, I'm printing it out right now and putting it in my to knit pile.
