oh my sweet goodness!  That is amazing.  I LOVE guinea pigs and I SUPER LOVE cuddling with them.  I am going to have to make one for my guinea pig Milhouse.  Do you find that your piggy pees in the cuddle up?  I made Milhouse a body pillow (and old sock stuffed with tissue and knotted at the end) and it started to smell.  Can you wash your cuddle up?

um.. yeah he peed in it, but i was afraid to throw it in the wash so i kind of hand soaked it in soapy water etc., but it still smelled like whatever he put on there (being a boy and all)   but.... if you stuffed it with some sort of stuffing that would be ok in the washing machine, and you sewed it carefully, it would be fine i should think. post any results!!

Awww...that's cute.  When and if I get a guinea pig, which I'm sure at some time in the future I will,  I'll have to keep that in mind.

YAY! I've made similar ones for my last 2 Guinea piggies Smiley Theyre like little sleeping bags! I do em with fleece on the inside. Lol, and so many uses! The piggies sit on, in AND under them. I like to call em Pigger-Bags  Cheesy

my piggy had one similar to that but I had to chuck it cuz he kept doing his business in there...while laying in it I might add.  Stunk out my living room even when laundered.  Sad  Do you have that problem too or does Whiskers have some sort of potty issues? Tongue

If you add vinegar to the water it helps to take away the stink.

You should separate the different sexes or get your guinea pigs spayed or neutered at the vet.  You can't blame them for following their instincts.

you could have made a layer out of that waterproof stuff they use in baby things. My mom found some at the walmart. It's these sheets of waterproof material for lining baby playpens and cribs and stuff. But she uses them for everything. If they're safe for babys thay're probably safe for piggies.
