Hey, I've sent 1kg packages to Poland and Holland it was pretty reasonable postage. Pm me if you'd like to swap. I'd be happy to send you anything you need (I have a ton of fabric) or some finished crafts. If you've seen the magnets, you've seen by bags, belts, and other crafts. d Grin Grin Grin

If only closed minds came with closed mouths!

If the world is getting smaller, why do postage rates keep going up?

Personal swap anyone?

look up circle bags on the tutorial thread...I thought I was blind too, lol  some of the pic links are broken, but I think the instructions are pretty straight forward. I am trying one tonight.

if you're lost, then we went off on the same path.. i can't find it either.

love the shape - how does it look when y'all are carrying it? does it hold?
if it doesn't, i guess that could be solved with harsh interfacing, maybe even cardboard inserts

Hey...i've deleted the tutorial because i was kind of pissed that just one person said thank you. I tooks me nearly a whole day to draw and describe the tute in a for me foreign language, and  since i've got the possibilty to sell these bags in an underground design and record store i decided after long argueing with myself that i should delete the tute.

i think the circular bag in the tutethread is an other way to make these bags... Huh

so, here is my way again:

a.   external fabric
b.   lining
c.   interfacing
d.   felt (cut at step 9)
e.   felt (cut at step 7)

Take a salad bowl to mark a round on the first fabric, then cut it and place it on the other fabrics to cut them! So you dont have to mark every piece! I didnt add seam allowance, so the bags get smaller than the bowl. Its not necessary to cut exactly because you can sew round and cut seams back!

Sew wrong sides of interfacing (Corderoy) and external fabric together!
Make this two times..so you have two doublelayer sandwiches.

http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/853/tutorial42ms6.png

Sew your sandwiches together wright sides of external fabrics facing! Now you have a 4 layer sandwich!

http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/7643/tutorial52pl6.png

Next you have to sew the lining on your sandwich..wrong side of lining to interfacing! The top of your layers is now the wright side of your lining!

Now you have to decide where and how large the handlehole should be! Cut it and clip it a few times!!

The next step is not necessary, because you will not see it on the outside. It just makes a nice look on the inside! You have to measure the outline of your bag and cut a piece of felt or other fabric in the length you need! Width is about 4 cm.

Now turn it trough the hole! You can see at this step how your bag will look like!! Pretty? Yeah!!!

Now fold the clipped seam of the hole inside, pin and sew it! It doesnt matter when the seam gets uneven, because you can use felt again to cover it! Measure the holes and cut felt (2x)! Now handsew it on!   Tadaaaaaaaa!

Please let me know when you have tried it, because i would like to see your versions!
