As promised a while back, here is a pic of my Harry Lauder's Walking Stick I planted last year.  Sorry it has taken so long.  I couldn't get a good picture until we got some snow.  It just didn't show up with bare ground

Thanks for all the great links, guys! I have to admit that when I saw this a couple of weeks ago I ordered every catalogue I could get my hands on. (even if it is a little late to order seeds, a girl can still dream...)

not technically seeds, but has any one ordered from Interstate Nurseries? I have a HUGE list of plants to get from there, but I'm a little hesitant of the quality. The prices are great though. Any input or info would be great! Happy planting guys!

This is so funny. I've been plotting out my small 10x5 garden all week. Im a edible plant grower and this year Im also gonna try a grow opp. Someone mentioned a seed exchange, I think that would be great. They do them on yougrowgirl and the list end up so long and different you get things to try that you'd never buy yourself.

I just discovered this thread...heaven!!! Cook's Catalog are fabulous as are seeds of change. Come to think of it...I am so NOT a seed snob...except for Frankentech I'll plant anything. I have a gazillion tomatoes and peppers and leeks and melons  and flowers growing right now under two weak little fluorescent lights and in windows and in "the straw bale  house" (see my thread Grin) and, yes, some of them are spindly, but hope always springs eternal for a gardener!!! I overseed and somehow it works out. I grew up on a truck farm in the midwest(no, we didn't grow Fords, though there were an awful lot of old ones raised up on blocks in the yard Cheesy) and my dad started the whole garden in a couple of  big cold frames next to the compost pile!!!
Look forward to seeing all of this living craft on Craftster  this spring summer and fall!!!!
The only problem with seed hoarding is I find that some seeds just decide to commit suicide if not used in a few years. Cry

Im such a bad seed hoarder that this year I collected seeds from peppers and melons that I loved. My husband who has almost completed his degree in agriculture informed me that those foods were most likely hybrids and wouldnt grow. I cant help but try! I just bought some confederate jasmine seeds and an orange tree seed from etsy and I can not wait to get them in the mail. As soon as I get them they are going straight into a pot!

I hope to start my grow op tonite (as soon as DH brings home the ride). And I'm coveting a meyer lemon tree. I wish I could find one at Home Depot around detroit.
