that's real nice looking.  I had a project like that in high school, except we had to re-create the Da Vinci's Mona Lisa in another artist's style.  I went with Andy Warhol (ala Marilyn Monroe), while my friend chose Roy Lichtenstein.  This reminds me of her project, hehe.

I had another assignment to recreate Munch's Scream in another medium.  I photoshopped a barbie doll's face (see user icon!)

What is it with teachers and making students re-do famous work?  Isn't that plagerism?

Georgeous!  It's so nice to see something made for a child that isn't all unicorns and hearts/tractors and trains. (Even if it was an art project) It will make a good plant stand in the meantime(until you meet a child to give it to.)
