artistrachelmarie, did you spin those on a wheel or on a spindle? I love the chunkiness of Wendy Joe's Cookie Strand.

Here are some yarns I spun this week.

They were made on my trusty CD spindle and so they aren't super long. They are between 45 and 65 yards because my little spindle can't carry more yarn.

Oh pretty yarns!
artistrachelmarie - I like the green woven bits
lynnidings - brown and blue look really nice together, don't they?
misshawklet - I like your bright green one. Bamboo is such a beautiful shiny fiber to work with!

I had to show you this. I got some dying done in the past few days. Most of it is Merino or Falkland.
How can you not want to jump right in it?

Oh I love looking at all the beautiful things on Fiber Friday, and can't wait until I can spin some interesting stuff- artistrachelmarie, I have to get some of your felt balls!
This is my 3rd skein ever, and all have been out of the same merino/tussah roving.  I am spinning it for a lace scarf/shawl that I'm knitting.  Anyway, I'm really happy and proud of this one. 120yds on a drop spindle, woo!

Thanks for all the inspiration!

here's my friday fiber

of course i actually spun it a couple of friday's ago, i hope it still counts  Smiley
then i crocheted it into a hat for my husband's christmas present

that's my youngest daughter wearing it, not the husband  Wink

all your yarns are fabulous!  you all make me want to be brave enough to add "stuff" to my yarn.

and that massive pile of roving?  my husband gave me coupons he made for christmas, one of which is for roving.  i can't wait to tell him tonight that this is what i want my coupon to be good for!  Smiley
