This isn't really a craft swap, though it could consist of craft supplies, I suppose.  I was just thinking it might be a good idea to trade away the Christmas gifts that you received/don't want.

Full disclosure: I'm not up for running this one, as I'm running a supplies swap and doing some other stuff right now.  But I wanted to bring up the idea, in case someone wants to use it.

I don't know if there is much use for this swap (even though my heart skipped a beat when I saw it) being as though there are the craftster classified boards for swapping (albeit primarily craft-related items).

I think the trick of a White Elephant swap is that you take what you get; you don't bargain and barter, you just hope for the best!  That's what would make it more of a swap than a classified ad kinda thing.

I agree. Besides if you look at the classifieds here, it seems things move sloooowly, if at all.
