Perhaps I will try it! How expensive is the screen printing ink and could i get it at Micheals?

I've never seen it at Michael's either. Try an art store (Blick's or Wet Paint here in St. Paul). Or you can get it online at misterart.com.

when I do get time I think I'm going to make a double effect with two different colors next

Scissorchic, all of the tutes I've seen for doing multiple colors say to make a separate screen for each color. I don't do that. I just make one screen and cover the parts I don't want printed with that blue painter's tape. It works great and it's much easier than trying to separate the different colors on the computer.

I was just thinking of doing a shadow effect using the same screen.  I plan on doing a print in one color and then letting that dry and going over it with another color positioning the screen slightly right of where it was before.  I'll post pics when I finnish!

That'll work really well and look way cool as long as the bottom color doesn't show through the top color.

True.... I didn't think about that.  I'll put the lighter color on the bottom.  Or maybe use two like colors (red and orange or blue and green).

Oh.... well then maybe I won't go looking for it.  Was the ink the problem or no?

awesome shirt, cool design choice.
I've seen speedball ink at michaels. i was there yesterday and saw some, its not too expensive. you can also buy silkscreening starter kits that come with 3 different types of speedball ink.
kudos on the shirt
