The pattern is from Nancy Bush's Folk Socks. If you're a regular sock knitter, it's  definitely worth picking up a copy. As well as a selection of beautiful patterns, there's also some great tips and techniques for general sock construction.

I'm going to knit these using Naturally Merino et Soie in a brown for the MC, Crystal Palace Creme in a strawberry color for CC, and for the snowflakes Creme, in a soft yellow.
