should we wear name tags? No, then people will think we're employees. Any thoughts?

Some people already know me, and I'm wicked easy to spot with the wacky red glasses in my userpic. I also have BRIGHT red hair, now cut in a Betty Page style bob with bangs. I'm happy to act as a beacon of Craftsterness.

let's meet on the front patio if weather permits.  and after beverage consumption we should definitely walk over to fiber factory.  * * * for those who haven't been to coffee talk before, they only accept cash. * * *

I'm wicked easy to spot... I'm happy to act as a beacon of Craftsterness.

ha ha!  i was trying to respond last night (flaky craftster server!), but that is *exactly* what i was saying-- chris is easy to spot.  chris, you can never miss a meeting because you are our official beacon of craftsterness!  Cheesy

also, if anyone needs a ride just post your cross streets.  we'll see what we can do.  Smiley

i'll send out a reminder message to everyone... i can't wait to see you all!

Umm... Okay, maybe I'm just an obsessive knitter, but I think woodland sprite was talking about meeting at the fiber factory, because if we wait too long all the good stuff will be gone gone gone. Okay, I'm going to put my rational person hat back on. Would it be possible to meet at coffee talk before ten? Or am I just kidding myself?

You yarn fiends are just too cute!  How about 9:30 at Coffee Talk?  As long as our red-haired-beacon can get there that early we should be okay.

PS - I miss the e-mail notifications - anybody getting them yet?

This works out well, (9:30) at coffee talk - and any stragglers can head straight to fiber factory at 10.  With any kind uf luck I'll get myself out of bead early enough to get a massage at ASMT before heading out.  LOL

I had cancelled my notifications, then reactivated them and was receiving notifications for a while - I didn't get one with your post tho, RickRackRuby!

damnit! I always miss out on all the fun.. why is it the ONLY time I ever have something going on is the random days everyone meets up... Angry

have fun girls - and since this is a knitting adventure - does anyone have suggestions on the best way to get started knitting? I have crap loads of weird yarn that I've picked up over the last year (not good for first time knitters I'm sure, but came in very handy for creative xmas wrapping!). Holler with an email if you have suggestions - would be much appreciated!
