Hey Craftsters-
Anyone know of a good spinning class out there?  I'm a TOTAL newbie (got lotsa books but no one to SHOW me how) but my dream is to someday soon make my living out of raising sheep and bunnies and dyeing the wool I spin with natural plants and such....but obviously I have a lot to learn first!
Anyone out there who can recommend a class or teachers, or would be willing to arrange a swap for you to teach me yourself, please let me know!

Groovy!

There is a place in Mpls (54th and Penn I think) called Creative Fibers.  I've never taken classes there, but I know they have spinning classes and equiptment.

You might also consider getting in touch with the weavers guild or textile center.  I'm sure somethere there can give you the info you need.

I think Depth of Field (Cedar Ave. St. Paul) offers spinning classes.
Another great resource is the Textile center on University Ave.
