Awesome!  I'm born on the cusp of Scorpio and Sagitarrius, so I can be either, depending on who you ask. Not sure if that's good or not- I've heard that it's very good luck and that it's very bad luck!   Roll Eyes Tongue

They're all fab, but the Ram's my fave! Always fascinated with sewing on paper!
I would hang that piece in my home anyday!

Wow, i love this. It's so neat to see the different things you created. I also took an A.P art class this year, and my concentration was hands. It's crazy to see the progress and new ideas you come up with as you are asked to use the same thing every project (zodiac for you, hands for me)---either way...these are wonderful. I love all that kinda stuff Wink What did you use to get the intense colors for the Aries and Scorpio? I absolutely adore how you wove that one...Was that just paper? or what did you use? I'm so intrigued ! haha

Wow, thanks! Yeah, I feel like the class really helped me try and come up with different ways of doing basically the same thing.
For Aries, I used water color concentrates (basically just bottles of the stuff splashed and mixed on a sheet of paper) to create the background and then drew on top of it with Prisma Color sticks. They are just the waxy stuff that comes in the pencils, only bigger.
For Scorpio I just used plain old water color paper and did I think 3 big sheets of playing around with the water color concentrates again (our art teacher had bought them, and no one seemed to be using them until our class came along. we got addicted to them). I just cut them into strips and wove them together. Then I drew on top of the woven paper with pastels.

One girl in my class used the woven paper thing to make these little boxes with lids. She even wove in metal strips and wire. They were so awesome.
