Oh and there is a little shop in Killaloe that does real wool felt and spun and carded coloured wool for felting,

there is a guy in Clara Market (Sundays in Co Offaly) who makes belts but will sell leather and some rivets and stuff, these are also very good for leatherworking stuff  http://www.leprevo.co.uk/index.html

Irish peoples! I'm in Kildare, and I don't know of any crafty shops around here at all, so I resort to online shopping when I can't be bothered to trek into Dublin. Scrapbooking seems to have taken off in such a big way, so a lot of online Irish crafty stores have been popping up. I'm not into scrapbooking myself, but the supplies sure come in handy for other craft activities. So far, I've found:

http://www.craftsupplies.ie
http://www.acornpapercraft.ie/
http://bumbleberrycrafts.com
http://adorn.ie/
http://www.craftfactory.ie/
http://www.thescrapbookstore.ie/
http://www.scrap4keeps.com
http://www.corkartsupplies.com

So far, I can only vouch for Cork Art Supplies--I ordered some lino printing materials from them, and they arrived the next day. I have to check out Yellow Brick Road--I've never been and it sounds wonderful.

Does anyone know of any crafty workshops/classes? I'm usually a do-it-myself kinda gal, but I wouldn't mind taking a class or two in bookbinding, printmaking, jewellery making, or something along those lines...

there is a paper arts kind of shop in ennis, dont know what you call the street, but there is a little lane way opposite the door of the hotel (up from dunnes) follow that laneway as it curves around (meeting the street that leads down to the statue of Icarus, and the shop is upstairs, to the left, its close to the Sacred Earth shop.

Sorry I dont know the names of any of the streets, but I am still having trouble finding my way around, its an interestingly laid out town!
