I made a crochet Yoda!  I loved all the ones so much that I made my own.  It was my most anticipated gift I gave this year because it's for my brother the HUGE Star Wars fan..  He LOVED it.  Now everyone wants one.  Thanks to all who made one before me for the ideas and inspiration.

ah! My best friend LOVES Yoda (her nickname is Yoda...) and I made her a Yoda costume for Halloween, but I've been looking for something she can have all year round! Do you remember what all you did to make this? I've never crocheted something 3-D and I'm nervous about attempting off the top of my head.

Well, I didn't write one.. I basically used the patterns from Roxycraft.com's animals for the body and head. For the ears I started with a CH 5 and then every other row decreased one stitch. For the cloak I made two rectangles, one big enough to go around him, and one smaller.(the hood). then I folded the small one in half and sewed one side together and stitched it on the back of his head and onto the cloak. For the hands I just did a square of green and folded it over.
