Here is my "special" robot. His blue screen is for gum. He loves you!

PS he has little black feet, you have to look close.

Hey guys, glad you like it!

I'll post another one of my famous Paint tutorials with pics after my computer starts working again.

Until then, I'll try to explain it simply with words. :-)

Time: about an hour

Cost: 2-3 bucks tops

You need:

-2 squares of grey felt
-a scrap of blue felt
-a scrap of black felt
-2 spare keyrings
-lining fabric
-a zipper
-3.5 feet of chain from hardware store
-assorted odd buttons

First, cut your robot shape out of the felt and the lining.

Cut your blue square out and use various stitch settings to acheive random squigglies

Then, sew the blue scrap on the front.

Sew it together like you would a normal purse, with the lining on the outside then flip it inside out.

For the feet, slip a folded black square and sew in.

For the arms, thread the keyrings onto a folded piece of grey felt and sew in

Add the zipper

Decorate with buttons (I used buttons with buttonholes as eyes to keep the head from flopping open all the time)

And presto, your own robot!
