i plan to glue a cardboard back with a stand to the felt so that it can be stood on a shelf. there's some angeline fibers mixed in, but they don't work as well as they do in wet felted pieces. i finished off the frame with some handmade yarn i scored on ebay. what do ya think?  Grin

I like the design and colors.  You come up with some of the most practical things, and then there were the eyeballs.  What a range in your imagination.

The frame would be a pretty neat idea to use for a "school days" photo such as a cheerleader picture, then have the cheerleading pin pinned into the felt frame.  And the frame in school colors.

Very cool!  How big is the photo opening, and how did you plan for that?

jenistar- i needled over a foam sheet i had that had an opening in the middle, just like a frame. it very conveniently came with my ipod in the mail when they sent it back from repair, so it's a fairly small opening (the size of an ipod mini, lol). if you dont have something like that lying around, i'd suggest just cutting out a frame shape from paper and then needling around that.

Thanks for the info!  And wasn't that nice of Apple to supply you with a frame like that Smiley
