Here's my very first reconstruction...  a skirt from a shirt!  It all started when...

"Like my skirt?" Asked sh00ga's friend.
Sh00ga blinked, before replying, "Um, I can make that skirt.  Its just a tube with ruffles on it..."
The friend frowned, before she shot back, "Well, if you can make a skirt like this, why do they sell it for $40 at stores?"
Sh00ga did not reply.

Well, I guess I saved forty dollars. ^_^

(sorry, my digital camera went spazzy, so i had to paint it. ^^"  the color's a little off; it's supposed to be a brighter blue.)

I'm especially proud of this becuase I had to handsew it all, which took about 4 hours off my life, but it was worth it.  If anyone wants a tutorial, I'll post one.  Making this skirt is so easy, its practically scandalous. 8D

You know what, my little sister tried on a skirt like that and I said the same thing. So she was smart enough not to buy it. The ones they sell in stores are, also, usually quite ugly and WAY too short for most people to wear. ^_^

I guess because people will buy them, apparently.

Your skirt looks cute.  Great illustration.

Wow, you're quite proficient in Paint!  I enjoyed your drawings almost more than the skirt itself!  Smiley
