ok I didn't know where else to put this so here goes:

I went to PRE-ORDER my copy of Stitch & Bitch...the Happy Hooker at Amazon.com. They wanted $17 something for it, which I'd have payed...except I remembered that I had a borders gift card. I went over to the borders website to order the very same book, and it was $10 and change. Whats up with the gigantic price diff??? I doubt I'll go back to amazon for my books or music if Borders is this much lower on everything.

oh, it looks like the cheaper one is paperback and the $17 is the hardback?

I usually find Amazon way cheaper than the stores B and N or Boarders.

Borders.com is teamed w/Amazon.com so their online prices will always be the same.  When you order from Borders.com you are actually buying from Amazon.com but Borders gets a % of the sale.  So the price difference was probably because the book you saw on Amazon was the hardcover version & the Borders one was paperback.

(On Borders.com I show the paperback as $10.46 and the hardcover as $17.13.)

But even still,  I totally think EVERYONE should buy ALL their books at Borders always.  (guess what company I work for  Grin)
