This is one of my favorite paintings I've done called "Motherhood."

I love the one of the pregnant lady.  Is the little girl with the dark hair your daughter?  She looks just like you.  (I can't tell if she is the same little girl as the light haired one).  You have some very nice artwork.

I love your use of the bold orangey-yellows.  And I'm really drawn to your mixed media piece "Someday" -- it's just how I've always felt about having a home.  Kind of wistful, but optimistic.  Fun bags, too.  I'm impressed!

Thanks! It seems like there aren't many people who are into abstract art so it's nice to get positive feedback.  Wink "Someday" is exactly how you described it bookgirl - I did that last spring when we were desperately looking for a place to live.

The dark-haired girl (with the purple apron) is the daughter of a friend, the blonde girl (in the fairy costume and poodle skirt) is my daughter.

Your art is awesome...I love it. I have just started painting with acrylics and I'm still getting used to it and stuff - but it's fun. I have only done a few paintings. I love all of your other art, too. And your clothes..and fairies...and hangbags.  I am way impressed.
