Today I became suddenly overwhelmed with the abundance of neat pictures I have lying around my room and with the lack of space in which I have to display them. I whipped this up in a few minutes - I'll put little pictures and post cards in the clothes pins hanging at the bottom. This certainly isn't my greatest accomplishment, but I thought maybe it would spark some ideas for some of you! I think the creation of the mobile is pretty straight forward, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Great idea.  Mobiles are a lost art, I think.

the great thing is that you can attach what ever you like to the clothes pins. and/or paint the pins.

Oh man! How did I not even think to paint the clothespins? That's a great idea - do you think I could spray paint the hanger, too? Or would they chip too easily?

Being old (and not just old school) I recall when you could BUY painted metal hangers. So, yes, I think you could spray paint the hangers and suffer no ill effects. Especially if you use a paint for metal. And no running in the house, either.
