I admit it. I troll bookstores looking for knitting books. And the other day at half price books on southern by superstition springs ctr I found jan messent's knitted historical figures for eight bucks, and they had a few copies, so I thought I'd pass it on. It's definitely interesting as a reference text and it's got some gorgeous stuff in it. I also got a book on sock styles of the eastern hemisphere or something like that. Merry wonky christmas to me. Anybody else seen good knitting books in PHX bookstores? Preferably used ones? I'm at bookman's at least once a week, and they occasionally have a good book (recent score: wool as a cottage industry) but nothing to write home about really. happy holidays guys.
