I just finished this bag this morning
I'm trying hard not to be selfish during this holiday time of year, lol.
Ok, so this bag was modeled after a large tote bag I bought and use as my knitting bag.
It took quite a bit of figuring out, but I think it came out okay!  Warning:  These pictures look like complete crap.  The bag looks MUCH better in person, I swear.

You can't see it well here, but the bag closes with grosgrain ribbon ties (which I think is super cute for some reason).  There's a good-sized pocket on the inside, too.  The size is roughly 8" by 8", but not quite because of the shape of the bag.  Anyway, it would fit a lot of stuff without being too large and bulky (the tote bag I used as inspiration is much larger, but deceptively holds way more than you think it would).

Constructing this bag was unusual and fun...I didn't turn it inside out like most bags.  I left the seams raw and covered them with the grosgrain ribbon.  It took almost 13 freaking feet of ribbon to do all that trim.  I thought I was going to run out when I got near the end but I was okay.  ^^;  Sewing the trim on was kind of a bitch, too.  I basically winged the whole thing, but I'm pleased with myself.  What do you guys think?
OH, and after the recent pricing discussions I've had with people, I decided to sell this bag at 28$ because it took a lot longer and a lot more thought to make than usual, and it has a lot more details than most of my bags.  I'm still not sure but we'll see what happens. ^^;
