Oh my. Yeah this thread is dangerous. Theres just something about brownies that the second you hear someone talking about them or you see them- that they have to be yours immediatly! Or maybe its just a girl thing Smiley

Now heres a question0 i love gooey chocolate brownies, but when people say 'chewy' are they talking about the same thing? I like dense, soft, almost fudgy brownies... and i think cakey brownies are a sad thing.... Are either of thes recipes for fudgy brownies?

I find the best way to make them more gooey is to use melted chocolate instead of cocoa powder, because it adds more liquid to it. I once ran out of cocoa powder and tried to make fairy cakes with melted chocolate... they turned into brownies!
Luckily, the event I was making them for (end of term party in English class) was a few days away, so instead of going stale, like normal cakes would, they just solidified slightly and had the texture of fresh cakes. Grin

my favorite thing to do is to make regular brownies (whatever kind you like  Wink ) and once they cool slightly top them with marshmallow cream and chopped up bits of graham cracker so its like a smore brownie!!
