I've been seeing all these great cardigan hoodie sweaters in the stores, but not in a style/color I liked, so I made my own in orange 80% cotton, 20% wool cascade yarn!  I like this better than all wool because the kind of wool I could afford was too itchy!

This was my second go at knitting a sweater (the first time was a disaster--made that one into a felted bag!), and it went pretty well.  I knitted pretty obsessively for about two weeks.  I'd be happy to help anyone out with it if they want to try it out.  Next time, I'd make it smaller, but otherwise, I'm happy with it.  Here it is on me:

And the whole thing on the floor:

And the pattern:

Thanks, creatingme!  I haven't made one of their hats, but that pattern looks really cute.  You'll have to post it when you're done.  I think they have cute patterns, for sure.  Mine was a little vague on some details for a beginner, but I definitely like the pattern.

That sweater rocks.  There's not enough orange in the world today, if you ask me.

Seriously, you did a lovely job.

Thanks, Katxena!  I LOVE orange too!  It's hard not to make everything orange, but if I did, I might not love it as much!   Wink
