Okay, I'm currently using PayPal's shopping cart which is working very well for me. Shipping is free or a flat rate for the products I currently have available so its nice and simple when filling in the PayPal cart html.

As I am getting a load of new products in soon which are all different shapes and sizes (and I will probably have to charge actual shipping or at least SOME amount of shipping for these products) I was thinking that the Mals shopping cart would be a much better alternative in its flexible shipping options.

However, as I obviously don't know exactly what products and what quantities customers will add to their cart, I can't see any way that I can set my shipping options in Mal's cart effectively, efficiently and accurately.

So, as far as I can see my only option is to configure my shipping options in mal's cart to "do not show shipping", then calculate the exact shipping costs after I receive the customer's order/cart contents and then send the customer a separate invoice showing the total due and the shipping cost.

Does this "double work" seems silly? Is there a better way I could be doing things?

Plus, to add to the "double work" thing, the free Mal's cart isn't integrated with PayPal so I can't receive direct payments .

So now I am faced with a dillemma - is it actually worth swapping from PayPal to Mal's even though PayPal is likely to become quite limiting for me.

Sorry for the rambling and utter lack of clarity in this post.  Hopefully other Mal's users out there will sorta understand what I'm on about.  Undecided
