Regarding plus sizes cut for B cup, this is usually true.  I read somewhere recently online or in a magazine on how to cut patterns to compensate for larger bust sizes.  I wish I had made note of it.  I'll try to find it and come back to post it here.

Here's a link I've found helpful that shows how to alter a pattern originaly cut for a B cup. It also has other helpful information on sewing for plus sizes.

Thanks for the link!  I'll have to try that as soon as I can shorten my to do list enough to include a new shirt for me.  I just thought I'd share a funny thing that happened while I was reading it.  You know how it says "Full Bust Enlargement" at the top?  My husband read that and looked at me with this hopeful look that said "You're going to make them even bigger?"  I just laughed at him and told him it was the pattern that was being enlarged.  Does he think I'm crazy?   Roll Eyes

I make things of all different sizes. I just cut the fabric out, and see what happens. Sometimes I end up with a size 8, sometimes a size 14 (uk sizes!).
