Hello Craftster's knitters. I'm fairly new here, and semi-new to knitting (about five months), but that's unimportant. =X

I was wondering if anyone might be interested in a Tubey knitalong? http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTtubey.html

The pattern seems simple. And it looks llike something that would make a nice first sweater. I'm working on finding a substitute yarn right now, and could use any ideas that other (likely more experienced knitters) working on this project might have.

I can't wait to get started! =D

Count me in. I'm using Zara by Filatura Di Crosa. I'm hoping to start over the next week.

Count me in, too! I've got some Heirloom Merino Magic (an Australian yarn) to make this with! Of course, it's the middle of summer here, so it might be a little while before I get started!

Me! This could be my knitting project for while I'm on vacation. I'm torn over what colors I want to use. Cheesy

Yay! I'm glad so many people are interested! I haven't chosen my yarn yet, but I'm thinking about doing the stripes with Kureyon, and using a solid color imbetween.. But I don't know yet. =3

I'll probably be starting on the third or fourth. =D

Can't wait to see everyone's results!

Ah, I love this sweater so much.  I'm going to start on it as soon as possible, but that might not be anytime soon...

I'm planning on using caron simply soft because, well, I'm broke.  and my gauge worked up the same, so I'm happy.
