I did this painting for my husband for our anniversary.  Call me a hopeless romantic...just kidding.  My husband is sort of a gore fan, so I wanted to do something he would like to hang up, as well as displaying my love for him (thus giving him my heart, granted it's still in my hand).  It was done on clay board with oil paint.

That looks fantastic! The cardboard is so realistic, Me and my boyflesh are gorey as well my paiting for him isn't nearly as good as yours but mine is a mock of the famous image of soldiers setting up the flag. Yet the flag is now a giant syringe and the background is full of toxic waste and power plants. EVen the soldiers are wearing little blue painters masks. Back to the subject, I really love your painting!

Just got flaked on for personal swaps so I am taking a break. ^_^; sorry everyone.

Oh my gosh!  When I saw the picture I thought it was a sculpture!  That's incredible!

Then he asked,"Lord, what about when there was one set of footprints on one side and also a straight line with bootprints on one side and small round circles on the other?" The Lord replied, "Those were when I carried you, and we were joined by a pirate pushing a wheelbarrow."

whoaaaa, who would have thought that gore and romanticism would go so fantastically hand in hand (pardon the pun Tongue)
It looks GREAT! I bet he'll love it...I don't like anything even remotely gorey and scary and even I love it! lol

I thought the same thing.  The details and shadows are amazing. That's a pretty unique gift and it's kinda creepy.... I like it.   Tongue
