Why just today I was at my local bookstore and placd the Stitch It Kitds in a more prominent location next to the latest knitting books.  I want everyone to see what an awesome product it is.  I'm off to start another little embroidery project............ ...............fun, fun, fun!

Jenny Hart, are you in the current issue of Jane magazine?   There's a few photos from a Craft Mafia party or something and there's this cute chick who's caption is "Jenny Hart"  Grin

Tha's me! We were in NYC for my solo show and also held an east-coast Austin Craft Mafia meeting with some DIY business gals there. Jane got wind of it, and came to take party pics! Isn't that cool?

I'm so glad you all approve of the kit! And placing it more prominently on the shelves is just so great. Like I have guerilla marketers working for me! Work it!

I stitched up the kitty (my first embroidery, at least that I can recall) and took it to my SnB...it was a hit!  And Boo, way to guerilla market.  Unfortunately (or not, depending on how many copies they ordered), the one I got was the only one at the store.  Should I see more, I will sneak them into a better location, too--happy to support a fellow Texan!

Now I keep looking around the house at all the fabric that could be embroidered...nothi ng is safe!

Jenny Hart you ROCK!
I love your the inspiration you have on the younger generation. You have taken an old art and made it spunky. I have known how to embroider for a long time, but have found it pretty dull and boring with the patterns my grandmother gave me, but with your patterns and my imagination, nothing in my house is safe!

ok, I'm a little late, but I finally bought it.  I was in my fav alternative store after mailing a bunch of swap stuff and I saw it in with the books.  it took some digging in my backpack to scrap up enough money, but I made it.  Smiley  I even told the girl at the counter that I knew the creator (well, know is a bit of an overstatement  Wink but I was proud of our jenny!).

I mostly bought it for the patterns, but I also love the types of stitches, since I've never bothered with different stitches before.  but I wish that I had it before I embroidered a palm tree on my boyfriend's pillow case, you're is so much better!  but the tiki and the hula girl are great; they're going on the tea towels for my boyfriend's mom for christmas.  Smiley

I'm new to this forum - I found it through the links section of the sublime site.  I bought the kit last weekend at yard dog in Austin.  It's awesome!  It was super easy to follow - my first project was a pillowcase - I used an old one thinking I probably wouldn't use it, but it turned out great!  I'm working on my second one and I'm going to embroider the sheets next.

hello, emily... excuse me, but what's a yard dog?  is it something like a yard sale?  it would be weird for the Stitch It Kit to already be at a yard sale, so i'm thinking that's not it.  i'm a northerner (MN) who doesn't know that term... Huh
