Last year was the first year I needed ornaments for a tree other than my parents', so I decided to make some.  These turned out to be my favorite!

I bought a bag of 12 plastic dinosaurs at Walmart (evil store, I know) for 88 cents, drilled holes in their backs and inserted wire, then decorated them with tiny homemade santa hats, scarves, snow balls, jingle bells, and whatever other trinkets I could find.  It was a lot of fun...really fast...and everyone thinks they're cute and funny Smiley.

okay, I want those on my tree.

They'd fit in perfectly with the star trek ornaments, plastic flamingos, and rubber ducks Smiley

The earth, stained with the blood of a thousand dying soldiers, weeps as she welcomes them home.

Oh my!! Cheesy I love those!  So creative!  That is something I must remember to do.  Not this year, my cats are eating all the tree decorations I already made.
Kudos--those are so much fun. What does the one dino on the right have?  Is that a big tambourine?

The dinosaur on the right is holding a little wreath Smiley
