Nothing really creative, but it was a tricky project and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

I actually made one (a little one) by stringing tiny glass ornaments on a wire. This one needed to be much more sturdy (it's very large) so I wired the balls to a metal wreath frame.

But there's a secret to it that I found out the hard way!

I tired to make one of these using a combination of wire and hot glue that turned out terribly. I just don't think I was patient enough to do it. What was your secret?

Okay, NelliPie, spill the beans on your secret - I love this project...it really turned out quite well - in fact, I would love to see one in several different colors.

Haha! I might just have to keep it a secret! It was so painful to discover! It took four wreaths like that one to figure it out. But at this point I will say that I did use hot glue...

Sorry to bump this, but I had to add more words of wisdom from my own (bad) experience!

I made this wreath last Christmas and a few as gifts. Don't use hot glue to glue the metal tops on, not matter how secure it seems! AND As pretty and seemless as they are, the glass ornaments are extremely delicate and impractical. Stupid stupid me. Oh and if they get a little wet (say...outside handing on your door), the colored coating peels off like crazy.

Oh well. Just thought I'd warn folks! Happy Holidays.
