Given enough coffee, I could rule the world.

This is actually my first project to post up here.  Sorry I don't have a better picture, but I just felt the need to show this off.

Every year, my office has a White Elephant gift exchange for Christmas.  Turns out that the guys have all had a long-standing competition to see who can bring the strangest gift.  This was my first Christmas at this company, so I decided I'd have to do something extra-strange.  Using Julieko's tutorial here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=46368.0, I made a huge donut-shaped pillow.  About halfway into cutting the pieces for it, I decided that this could only be a hemorrhoids donut.  It was the perfect shape, and just about the right weirdness level for my coworkers and employers.

It's at a really bizarre angle in this picture, and you can't see the sides or back, but the front (frosting) part was made from a cream-colored faux leather jacket I had lying around, and the back was made from a pair of my mom's old chocolate brown pants.  The stuffing was cannibalized from an old pillow I was just going to throw away, and when I was done, I embroidered little sprinkles on the frosting.

(modeled here by Aaron, the lucky recipient)
It was a huge hit!  Although I think it will probably get more use being thrown at people's heads here at the office than for relieving hemorrhoids.   Cheesy

Kindness isn't dead.  Promise.
