Hi! I live in NJ...Sussex County. Where are you located?
I've always been a big sewer. Working on lots of small items now...mostly hand sewing. Alot of knitting too. Let me know what's going on!

Washington Twp.  I've heard of Hawthorne, but I don't know where in Bergen it is.  Are you nearby?

hi all...

i actually just registered on craftster.org so i could reply to this...i've read craftster since it started but have never had the gumption to post anything. but! i think a sewing/knitting/whatever group in the area would be awesome. i'm just learning how to sew (have made a couple of decent totebag-type-things, really have the goal of making myself some dresses), i knit, crochet, would like to be better at embroidery...i make beaded stuff (necklaces, etc.) from time to time...of COURSE i have a large collection of marble magnets...heck, i'll try just about any craft once.  Wink

anyhoo, i too live in bergen county, as it seems a lot of you do...so, what can we do here?

Hmm.  No one in New Jersey?  How bout anyone near the border of PA?

Never mind the sewing group...Does anyone go to any shows?

I've been popping into Mexacali Blues in Teaneck (uggh, s.p.?) quite a bit with my guy.
Mountain of Venus, Hunger Mountain Boys/ Waybacks, etc. He goes quite often.

Anyone going to Peters Valley this summer?

Anyone hiking the A.T.?... I'm close for lunch and a shower!!
