I made this a while ago while I was on a rampage of necklace making. I found it tucked away in a box of stuff I'd made months ago. I was trying to sell a few pieces, but noone seemed to like this one, maybe a bit too 'out there' for some people, I don't know. I quite like it, I put it on today and decided I'd like to keep it for myself anyway! The photos are realy big, sorry about that.

And this is what it looks like when its on...I had to take the photo myself.

Wow, looks great on.  ChellyD is right, I bet that's why you didn't sell it.  Some pieces have to be worn to be appreciated...

Lucky you anyway, you get to keep it!

Oh, I love it! I'd be surprised if someone didn't try to buy it off your neck when you wear it out.  It does need to be seen on to really get it.

Thankyou very much guys. Its strange because until you all just mentioned it, I never really thought that the necklace needed to be worn to be appreciated. I must be stupid or something! Or maybe.....its because the beads are plastic that they dont want to try it on. I'm a huge fan of plastic beads!

I like fun, funky plastic beads, too.  When I saw the first pic I was like "Hmm...weird" then I saw the pic of you wearing it and said, "Ooh! Cool!"  So yeah, I agree...try taking a modeling pic of it and then repost it just to see if it sells.  I suggest natural lighting (that's the photog in me).   I bet it will sell.  If nothing else, people will see you wearing it and want to buy it off of you.  That happens.  Roll Eyes

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

I know what you mean cos the same thing happened with a multi strand necklace I made.  I sell to friends & co-workers quite a lot and usually have a box of stuff that they go through.  this one necklace had been sitting there ages until i made a similar one and wore it, and everyone started asking about it, even though they'd passed over it several times.

Some necklaces just have to be seen in 3D I guess
