here are my recently completed school projects (they are not ironed, thus the slightly wonky state)

this is inspired by a ralph lauren dress, i used a heavy satin for it. the neckline plunges to the belly button, almost...so i guess i won't be wearing this although it's made to my size!

this was also designer inspired (i can't remember the name) and there should be buttons on all the tabs (shoulder and sleeves) and on the pocket flaps, but i didn't include them yet as they were not required for the school project that these were for

here's the toile (test garment) of the jacket

this dress is made by my friend..the godets are made from a beautifully gauzy fabric, and the main fabric is satin.

Amazong id wear the first dress all you need is a bit of boob tape and it wud be fine! or you could play it down ish by sticking a plain t-shirt inderneath then jeans and a long hippy necklace. maybe....  Tongue

That dress looks red carpet ready!  What school do you go to?  I always wanted to go into fashion design, but I chickened out and opted for graphic design instead. lol Wink

oh good grief. i cant believe how lush these are. especially the last dress, were these made for a show or something? will they get wear out of them? i'd hate to think these gorgeous garments are just gonna hang around!

i'd definitely wear the jacket. the 1st dress, i've got to find a creative way of not exposing my boobs so much!
as for the last dress - unfortunately my friend who made it thinks it sucks - i guess it was something our teacher chose for her, it wasn't really her style altho i think it's nice

the clothes were made for our class projects, not for a show

i went to raffles design institute, that's a school in singapore (i just finished my course) - and i went back to school after 7 years of working in a non-related industry Smiley

A    black lace or contrasting satin camie would solve the plunge problem.

Great job on those!  I really love all of those!

What class are those for, and were do you go to school?  I'm in college for apparel design as well, so I'm curious!

Beautiful job again!
