I have purchased several pairs of undies for my roommate, and I wanted to personalize them with funny icons/words/etc. for her. The only idea I have so far is "Bad Reputation"... I'm having some brain blockage (my creativity has been sucked dry by the rest of my christmas gifts!) so I was hoping you crafty hipsters could give me some inspiration. I'm decent at embroidery, so I think I could try some fairly intricate designs if I need to. Thanks so much!!!!!

Several girls at my college purchased underwear with A+, B-, C, D, and F to use for their "schoolgirl" Halloween costumes. I'm sure you could embroider the same thing!

Good luck!

Hmmmm ... This end up (with an arrow)
All of the rest of the ideas that came to mind were a bit in the raunchy arena *sigh* mind in the gutter today I'm afraid.

personally, i love the inside jokes that make no sense to anyone other than the two of you. i did a whole series for a friend once with references to dimes. bad pick up lines are always great -- if you google "bad pick up lines" there are several websites that come up. going to the fabric store and getting whatever iron on patches you can find is always a great plan. Oftern there are a lot of things on clearance that make no sense which makes for hysterical underwear. and there are those iron on felt letters to save yourself time.

If you have plain white ones, you could embroider briefs patterns on them with grey-black thread. Make them look like boy-panties. Tongue

I have underwear that say "Do not take me home until I am very drunk"
I think they are extremly hilarious.

Along those same lines, you could do a pair that say:
If found please drop in any mailbox or return to:
and then her address

I may have to make a pair like that myself - ha ha ha (oh geesh, I'm laughing at my own bad joke)
