lol After all these years of being at Craftser and all the things I've made, I've never posted anything I've made. lol I much prefer telling everyone how great their work is and getting inspiration.
But ....I put together this little piece of cross stitch for a swap I was in and thought I'd share. I think it turned out pretty cool. I'm working on a big Sally head now.....

I love christmas breaks...all that time to relax and create <3
Anyone else made any Nightmare Before Christmas needlework pieces?

 ^v^

very very cool! i've never had the patience for cross stitching. the closest i got was sitting down for about 2 hours while i waited for my car to finish getting an oil change. but then when i got my car back, i ended up hitting a parked car.. and i know this has nothing to do with my cross stitch, but i have yet to touch it since.

I'm actually working on a pillow for a friend tht is an embriodered "pin-cushion queen", a character from Tim Burton's book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy. It's no Jack, but it's Tim Burton! Wink

Very cool! Your stitches look really good. I LOVE all things Tim Burton and Nightmare Before Christmas is by far one of my favorite movies of all time.

I couldn't wait for this to open and I wasn't disappointed! I love Jack. You did a great job. I haven't cross-stitched in a while and I always pick stuff that's too big so I end up not finishing it. Is that a border I see or is that just something the camera did?  If it is, how did you do that? (double the floss, maybe?)

It's great. Like someone else said, I can't wait to see Sally.

The white is actually part of the matting. It slopes in towards the cross stitching but the camera flash kind of made it look off. lol

hmm it just looked like the left and right vertical rows (right next to the white mat) were bigger or something. I think it's just a trick of the camera. It's just really awesome. Smiley

I've looked for NBC Cross-Stitch for some time now . Did you make the pattern or did you get it from sowhere else? I hate to ask, but could you share the pattern?
