Did you knit it, umbrellamaker?  Crochet?  I should be able to recognize the method, but the plastic bags really throw me off.

I'm so delighted.  I asked for "a bag or purse made of something that was never intended to be a bag or purse."  I adore clever things like this.  And I adore them even more when they're this functional and well-made.

Knit on size 19 needles. I hope it stands the test of time! I made the lining a little bigger than the shell, because I imagine that the bags will relax and sag with time. And that soggy diaper look is never attractive....

I think the white with black letter (the under the flap chunk) are all Walmart bags. They really annoyed me because I thought they had a dirty, cheap look, much like WalMart. That's why they are on the underside.

I've absolutely loved everything I've seen so far.  And I received my VERY FIRST EVER swap
items a few days ago.  These three flower pins are just adorable and I can't wait to go out to lunch so I can wear one.    I've already added the large pink one (my favorite!!!) to a ribbon purse and it looks fantastic.  Kristina...THANKS so much for the beautiful flowers!

Hey, umbrellamaker--I took the "bagbag" (I gave it a name) to work tonight, and it got comments from every person who saw it.  And it's just big enough to fit all my essentials and a hardcover novel.  As for stretch... it's nice that the flap is unlined, because it's good for the flap to stretch.  The lining will keep the body from stretching out (it doesn't seem to stretch at all when it's full).  And the strap is connected so solidly that I don't think carrying weight in the purse will cause any problems.  Thanks again!

I received some WONDERFUL vinatege buttons the other day, but there was no name signed to the note! The buttons are WONDERFUL! I love the union jack ones - no pic yet, buit I will post one! Fantastic, but I'd love to know who to thank! (they live in LA and mail fron north h'wood!)

After just about everything technology related crapped out on me, I'm able to post here and tell you guys about the awesome piratey pillowcase from redstar13 and tiki-themed cards from Pretendpeterpan. I still need to reinstall my camera to pull the pictures off it, but they are AMAZING.

i received my gun pillow from antuanette while i was in arizona, i finally got some fiber fill to stuff it, here it is:



its really large (which i love) and you cant see the detail but she sewed lines on it to look like an actual gun, i love it!
