actually, it didn't really because they were appliqued rather than pieced.  the first couple did and then I kinda got the hang of it!  I could do a tutorial if anyone was interested....

I haven't appliqued in so long. I used to do those house flag thingies (I keep meaning to do them again) and that was a good bit of appliqueing. But, as I said it's been a while so a tutorial would be awesome. (I hope this "tut request" is allowed since the question was asked).

absolutely!  but I have to break some bad news -- the semester started and between classes, practicum, and job, I barely have time to shower much less make tutorials.  so it'll have to wait until spring break.  Sad

That is so beautiful. I don't know how to quilt or applique, but this makes me want to learn how to do that stuff. I will be keeping an eye out for the tut. I LOVE it!!!
