Oh my lord! That's awesome! I too cannot really offer much advice (SORRY!) but I had to say something...and am intrigued if someone can help you out!

I think, maybe you could find a doggy sweater pattern and just add arms to the side, and attach a beanie type thing on it with ears attached? Sorry if this doesnt help, but it doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to make...just be hard to get the dog to sit still to get measurements.

it looks like a bear.. in a jester costume. ? that's a good idea about just using a sweater pattern though... they sell patterns for pets? wow.
i know though that pugs, due to their round shape, are hard to find clothes for. but maybe i'll try to get some measurements. i'll post if i come up with anything...

Yea, they sell patterns for pets. Haha. It's kind of weird. I don't think I'd do that to dogs, but maybe I'll torture my cats (actually they probably wouldnt care) lol.

is it supposed to be one of those monkeys that dance around while the hobo plays the organ grinder?
i think it wouldn't be TOO hard to make, once you manage to get the measurements...

Find a stuffed animal about the same size and "undo" it for a pattern.

did you ever figure it out? like the person said above me, pugs are tricky when it comes to clothes. i've never made her anything or bought her anything, but last year i put this sweatshirt on her when we were at petsmart. the only size that fit around her belly was either the L or XL, but it was way too long and would have needed to be shortened if i had bought it.

my point is, if you haven't figured it out yet...take advantage of the holiday sales and buy a hoodie that fits around the dog's belly. you can rip the seams and use it as a pattern.
