i made them with a badge-a-mint. it took about two days. the last ones are made out of fabric. sorry for the billion pictures, but there are a ton of buttons!

these set of fabric buttons i made a bunch of each, but they all kind look the same, so i didn't want to have that many more pictures!

all amazing!  i love the palahnuik ones.  i was just looking at button makers on ebay last night but i don't know what the hell i'm looking at, so i stopped.  obviously you think this one works well...where did you get it?  and if you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost?

Those are great buttons.  I especially like the black & white ones. I'm for sure going to get a badge-a-mint now!

i would love to know where you got your badge thingy too! i've been wanting to get one but some seem really expensive and i don't know which is best. how much are refills? how easy is it to use? all of your buttons look great! i've been dying to make some fabric ones.

thanks everyone for all of the compliments.

all amazing!  i love the palahnuik ones.  i was just looking at button makers on ebay last night but i don't know what the hell i'm looking at, so i stopped.  obviously you think this one works well...where did you get it?  and if you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost?
i got it off of ebay almost a year and half ago. it was new when i got it, but you might be able to find a cheaper used one. i'd look around though, evenones prices were way different when i got mine. and make sure you check and see what it comes with so that you get everything you need.

i would love to know where you got your badge thingy too! i've been wanting to get one but some seem really expensive and i don't know which is best. how much are refills? how easy is it to use? all of your buttons look great! i've been dying to make some fabric ones.
as with most things, the more you buy the cheaper they are. so, i went insane and bought 2000 refills (with plans of selling them!) for under $100 with shipping. i think it averaged to about $.04 a button. but if you get less quantity it becomes more expensive, my best advice is to shop around. the last time i bought the refills i got them at buybuttonparts.com and they were cheap, good quality, and fast delievery.
it is pretty easy to use once you get the hand of it. when i made all of this (most of them in the same day), my hand begun to hurt from squeezing the thing so many times. so, it can be annoying, but fun at the same time!

if you have any more questions, id be happy to answer them!

they look lovely!  Smiley  two questions:
are the fabric ones covered with the plastic sheet?  or can you touch the fabric?  and what is the diameter?
